Neurodistinct people often spend a long time trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Becoming more reasonable with myself and figuring out what it IS that I bring to the table has been more valuable than taking calculus ever could be.
Even with this note itself - if I'd written it 20 years ago, I would've been told not to write in all capitals. But as I got older, I realized it wasn't just because I thought it "looked cool." It helps me separate the letters better visually.
