Neurodiversity refers to the natural variation in how human brains function, influencing how we learn, process information, interact, and perceive the world. In contrast to than using a medical or deficit-based lens to look at cognitive differences, this framework is empowering for people with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, OCD, PTSD and more.

It includes every one of us.

Neurodivergent talent encompasses individuals of all races, genders, age groups, veterans, and it includes a higher proportion of those who identify as LGBTQIA+ compared to the general population.

It’s changing the world.

Gen Z will make up about 30% of the U.S. workforce by 2030. 53% of those entering the workforce indicated they were ND. 80% report being less likely to work for a company that lacks support for health issues and neurodiversity. According to Google Trends, searches for the word ‘neurodiversity’ increased by over 2400% between April 2014 and April 2024.

It needs our attention.

59% of ND employees worry that disclosing would have a negative impact on their career. As a result, this population is currently underrecognized and undersupported within the existing workforce. Meanwhile, ND adults face unemployment rates of 30-40% or higher.
